Teaching moments.

Whenever I can,

I take the opportunity to teach boys what

gingham

is.

I have found that generally their knowledge of gingham is limited.

But it's a nice little fabric, see?

Makes you feel like a pioneer.
(=best feeling in the world)

  1. I have to disagree, but you already knew that. I think paisley, argyle, seersucker, herringbone, and houndstooth all outrank gingham on my list of important textile patters.
And a textile mill would never hire me, by the way.
